"Weir in Your Kitchen" 8-ounce shallow ramekin is a versatile baking and serving dish. Perfect for pana cotta, individual soufflés, custard, crème brulee and more. Deep cayenne color compliments any tablesetting.Bake a single serving of creamy flan, or a snack of sliced apples, in this shallow ramekin from Pfaltzgraff's Weir in Your Kitchen line of bakeware. Celebrated PBS chef, culinary instructor, and cookbook author Joanne Weir collaborated with Pfaltzgraff to design the line. The 8-ounce ramekin reflects Weir's passion for food, Italian travel, and vintage ceramics with its Renaissance-era inspired acanthus design. In bas-relief, the vines gracefully unwind around the ramekin's sides.
The ramekin features Pfaltzgraff's Pro Lumina ceramic construction, which claims 50 percent more strength than other stoneware. A durable glaze resists chips, scratches, stains, and residual odors. The microwave-safe ramekin accommodates freezer-to-oven treatment and sustains temperatures up to 500 degrees F. For the best results, grease the interior prior to baking. The ramekin is dishwasher- safe for easy cleaning. To preserve the dish's beauty and efficacy, avoid cleaning with abrasives and wait until the baker cools before washing.
