Description of Pfaltzgraff Ocean Breeze Gravy Boat with Saucer
Standing on the shore and looking out at the sea, you see bands of color as the ocean gets deeper and deeper. At first there is the soft green shade of shallow water that is warmed by the summer sun; then it progresses to a current of darker blue green, a bit colder and deeper; then at last, is the deep blue sea. This is the progression of color that makes up Ocean Breeze, a banded collection shown on a Contempo shape. Three plateaus, or ridges, are sculpted into the rim of the dinnerware, each holding a single shade, creating a dramatic evolution of color.Bands of blue and green on the saucer's rim evoke the ocean's changing colors and aptly contribute the name Ocean Breeze to the dinnerware pattern this gravy boat and saucer are designed to complement. The boat holds a generous 18 ounces of gravy or sauce, and the saucer is 8-1/4 inches in diameter. Made of heavy stoneware, the gravy boat and saucer are chip-resistant; safe in the oven, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher; and carry a three-year warranty against defects.
