I loved the pattern, but the edges of lids chipped the first month I had them. This is true of bowls and plates in this pattern also. I had collected an entire set of dishes over a year, but am now looking to replace them with a different pattern. Very disappointed.

Embossed detailing complements the gently scalloped rim of this classic white pattern. The delicate nature of the ornamental work suggests a subtle femininity without being prissy or overly sweet. As with any white dinnerware, accessorizing can dramatically and economically change the entire look, making it more urban or more country, more casual or more formal.This classic set of Pfaltzgraff stoneware is basic off-white with an understated filigree pattern of gently scalloped edges and embossed arches. Its beauty lies in its subtlety: it's pretty but not overly feminine, so it wouldn't be out of place in a bachelor pad. The three-piece set contains 3-1/2-quart (14 cups), 3-quart (12 cups), and 2-1/2-quart (10 cups) sealed canisters. Each lid features a good-sized knob for easy lifting. As with all Pfaltzgraff dishes, single replacement pieces are available if you ever break, say, just a lid. The stoneware is microwave-, oven-, freezer-, and dishwasher-safe.
